So, this time last year, I introduced the 30 Days to Changing Your Game Blog series. It was wildly successful – way beyond what I’d expected.

And many of you have pinged me throughout the y ear, keeping me up to date on the great stuff you are up to as a result of it and of 30 Days to Creating Irresistible Presence.

BUT, I know there are a TON of you out there who may have participated in those series (or not) and are nowhere near where you’d hoped to be at this point.

You’ve got great reasons for why that is and you don’t want 2011 to be a repeat.

If you mean that, if you really want to be done done DONE with your excuses, if you are ready to do whatever it takes to get your sh*t together and make great stuff happen, this series is for you.

Now the world has changed a lot in the past year. And if you want to LEAP out there with your big, bold thing, you’ve got say sayonara to the same-old same-old way of thinking, doing and being. Marginal, or just slightly better than mediocre just isn’t going to cut it anymore.

It’s time for a radically different way.

Ah – but which way? With the world spinning and changing so fast it is really hard to know, isn’t it? Especially with the “guru” crowd getting louder and more desperate.

How do you know what actually DOES work? What is really going to help you get it together and doing your big thing in the world?

As I always do when I find myself asking tough questions like these, I’ve turned to some of the brightest, smartest people I am lucky enough to call my friends.

(If you’ve hung around here for any length of time, you know that I only respect and learn from those who are actually out there doing what I want to do the way I want to do it. I observe, I ask questions, I read what they write. If there is the least bit of “ick factor”, I’m not interested.)

And because I want to share the best and boldest ideas from this illustrious (or should I call them “notorious”?)  crowd who will shake, rattle and roll your world, I’ve created

28 Days to Getting Your Sh*t Together

Who This Is For

This series is for those of us who are DONE waiting around for the right time or the right circumstances to start doing great stuff in the world. We are ready NOW.

We will set aside 28 days beginning February 1, 2011 to get our sh*t together, stop making excuses and put our big idea out into the world.

AND to make all that happen, my guest authors will be sharing not only their wisdom but also a daily kick in the butt to get us taking action, immediately.

As you can see, this is going to be quite a trip. But what a great group to travel with!

(As a quick aside, I find that when I make a commitment to take a small step every single day and I have a group around me who is making the same intentional commitment, I make incredible progress toward my goal.)

Now, one thing you need to know. This project is about DOING, not passively reading a bunch of great ideas you have no intention of taking action on.

If you’ve been hanging out on the web for a while, you’ll probably hear a few things you’ve heard before. And because we will be covering A LOT of ground in 28 days, some posts will be more relevant to you than others.

My hope is that you will “play through” and take the inspiration and the action anyway. Or you may decide to take what you need now and come back for the rest later. Either way, you win.

I can promise you that, if you stick with it, at the end of 28 Days, you will be in a MUCH different place than you are now. You will have walked through a crash course in getting your sh*t together and you will have learned from the some the sharpest minds around. Pretty exciting huh? Yeah – I think so too. 🙂

To Participate

If you want to get the most out of the 28 Days, I would like to ask you to register for the series. You’ll receive one email per day through the length of the series notifying you that the post is up, sharing the link to it and providing a little “extra” every now and then.

Of course you don’t have to register and can follow along by checking the blog every day or through the RSS feed, but I STRONGLY encourage you to register for a couple of reasons:

  1. When I sign up for something and it shows up in my inbox every day, it a) reminds of my commitment and b) holds me more accountable.
  2. I plan on sending along some extra info and maybe a goody or two to those who are serious enough about this 28 day series to register.The posts on the blog will helpful to anyone who stops by to read them. But the emails I send each day might include an extra resource, point you to another blog or even include something fun. 🙂

If you choose to sign up, you can unsubscribe anytime if you find it isn’t relevant or helpful to you.

Once the series is complete, I’m not planning to send a ton of additional emails. I may send along some things that might be helpful, but the daily emails will stop. And, again, if the emails I send aren’t giving you what you need, you can unsubscribe.
